The Obagi Blue Radiance Peel is a medium strength peel developed by Obagi Medical. It is formulated with a blend of unique acids, mainly salicylic, to decongest, brighten and smooth skin texture.
The salicylic acid works to shed dead skin, unclog pores and treat areas of pigmentation to reveal a brighter, newly refreshed complexion.
Patients with blemish prone skin, acne scars, wrinkles, unwanted pigmentation, large pores and sun damage are the most ideal candidates. The Obagi Blue Peel Radiance is suitable for most skin types.
The Treatment
The peel is administered in layers. The first layer is applied for approximately 30 seconds and if the client is able; a second layer is applied for approximately 12 minutes. After treatment, your skin will take between five to ten days to fully peel. During this time it is highly recommended that you avoid direct sunlight and wear sunscreen.
HOW OFTERN SHOULD I GET THIS PEEL?
Although clients will see a result after 1 peel, best results are seen with four to six treatments 4 weeks apart.
